This article is thoughts from Ray Stickler
I’ve been thinking about the powers and energy that flow though the universe and their effects on the Earth and our lives. Some of these powers can be seen but yet are invisible.
Think of gravity. The powers of gravity are strong enough to control the orbits of the planets but will allow a feather to float gently to the ground.
Gravity can be measured. Gravity can warp time. Gravity controls the ocean’s tides It’s effects can be predicted and seen, but gravity itself is invisible.
Some powers can be felt but can’t be touched. Wind, light, darkness are part of our lives. We know these things exist. We can feel their effects. But we can’t hold a handful of wind or keep a basket of sunshine.
These powers, and others, can be proven and quantified by science. This knowledge makes our modern world easier.
However, I envy the ancient ones without this knowledge. Today, when we see a rainbow, we know it’s sun light on water droplets causing a prism.
The Ancient ones saw the beauty of a rainbow as a gift.
Today, we know the seasons come about due to the tilt of the Earth’s axis. But the Ancient ones understood the seasons as a time for change. To prepare for the cold, dark days of suffering and to celebrate the times of rebirth and abundance.
Modern science can, without a doubt, prove many powers. Mainly by measuring their cause and effects. We understand this and accept these things as fact. But if the invisible can be seen this way, would it be impossible to believe there are other powers and energy yet discovered? “Hidden powers’
I see the universe flowing with hidden powers. Colors yet to be named. Civilizations of light. Waves of healing energy. These powers. this energy, yearns to connect with us.
