Manatee

Mana in many cultures means Magical Power. The Manatee is truly a Magical Creature.
In leu of the violence that is happening now it is time that we take a deep breath and ask ourselves if this is what we want our lives to be. I was guided to draw a card to post here and Manatee is what was draw. I feel like it is the perfect card. Manatee comes from the deck of Messages From Your Animal Guides by Steven D. Farmer. The main understanding from Manatee is “Lay down your sword not in defeat or in self-sacrifice, but from the realization that this the fight you want or need to engage in. As the saying goes “choose your battles” this is not one that you want to waste your time and energy on.”
Our frustration and anger over so many things that are happening around us. Feeling like the only thing people will see are the acts of violence, not acts of love and kindness. We need to be aware of the words we use toward others. We must set a better example of kindness and acceptance, rather than dialogue filled with separation and ignorance.

Interesting how things come together. The other day my daughter recommended a movie to watch, it is called The Shack. I had seen the trailers of the movie a while back, thought it looked interesting. I watched it the other day. It for me is so good. It’s message is about judgement, and forgiveness and love. I hope those that are open to this message will take the opportunity to watch it. True confession here….I cried my eyes out, but in the way of a surrender. Would love to hear from you if you choose to see it.
