Connections With Nature…

Connections with Nature. They have done studies that show sounds from nature can calm you down usually quite fast. I find just listening to the leaves flutter in the breeze calming. The gentle flow of water of a brook.

When I started writing this today I was reminded of one of my favorite places on Earth, I actually took many friends up there to experience it. I have performed many rituals in this place, I call the Circle of the Trees and when you sit in the center there is this feeling that you are being awakened to the Presents of the forest. A Power so much bigger than ourselves.

So many times I would be sitting in the Circle of the Trees and a Red-tail Hawk would circle above me. I see all these engagements out in nature as Spirit speaking to me. Some of the engagements are so humbling it brings me to tears of awe. Nature is speaking to us all the time if you are willing to learn natures language. Yes, lol, I have my cheaters manuals…Animal Speaks and Nature Speaks by Ted Andrews. These books have been my guides to natures language for years, my poor Animal Speaks book shows what a huge journey it has taken me on.

If you truly want a great experience in nature go with children. The magic they bring to the picnic table is priceless. My youngest granddaughter was with us when we went to the High Uintas, she is 14 but the magic of being in this place showed in her whole being. She came running back to camp after exploring one day loudly claiming she had found the Bridge to Tarabithia. I loved that she found so much happiness in exploring of being present in nature. This is the same trip I showed the photos of the bubbling spring as well as the two Moose showing up. It was a magical journey.

I have probably said it so many times but nature chooses to engage with us, not the other way around. When an animal that you normally don’t see shows up in your day, pay attention, there is a message their.

Take the time to learn the language of Nature. Just Breathe…
