West – Jaguar

Again, I repeat you just can’t make this stuff up.

Today I talk of the energy or grace of the West Direction, the power animal that is the West direction is Jaguar, in the Inka traditions, other Native Traditions it is Black Bear. As you can imagine both these animals are powerful protectors. When we call for Jaguar it is to protect the space we are doing ceremony in. As a fire ceremony is done you always call in the winds of the four directions. Jaguar/West is about transformation. It can be looked at like the dark night of the soul, when we are releasing, transforming and renewing. Serpent/South is about healings that are done in increments. Where Jaguar can support in a swift transformation.
The oracle card that was drawn came from my Rumi cards, (Alana Fairchild) the card that showed up was ARISE!
This card is all about transformation allowing the death of the parts of self. Because of what is happening world wide and even here in little oh Utah with continues after shocks I am posting a part of the card word for word because of how powerful, like Jaguar that it seems.

Jaguar is about the deep dark water of our emotions. Let’s liberate who we truly are.
